Lecturer Auditions

Muistardeaux Collective auditions for Sculpture L.A. lecturers were held at Marina Abramovic Institute West (now named The Performance Art Institute) in San Francisco. Each auditioning actor was given a different topic – written on the deck of a CD of one of Muistardeaux Collective’s twelve musical albums – and seven minutes to present that topic in a cogent, believable and sincere manner. The topics were generated by a Muistardeaux Collective relational tree diagram stemming from two primary root topics: 1) The 1986 Challenger Space Shuttle Mission; and 2) Val Kilmer. All auditions were open to the public for viewing.
